These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and Mint Wellness ("Mint Wellness", "we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the PoopID iOS application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PoopID.

2.1 Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old (or, if higher, the minimum age of digital consent in your country — for example, 16 in most EEA countries, 14 in some, 13 in the US under COPPA) to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or the local age of majority), you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

The Service is rated 12+ in the App Store, but the legal age to enter into this agreement is the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.

2.2 Geographic availability

PoopID is available in territories where Apple distributes the App. Some features may be limited or unavailable in certain jurisdictions due to local regulation.

3. Your account

You authenticate using Sign in with Apple. We do not collect a password. Your Apple ID and Apple's authentication system govern your sign-in security; you are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at mobixoftapps@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

You may use PoopID anonymously without filling in profile fields. Optional profile fields (display name, avatar, health context) help personalise the experience but are not required.

4. License to use PoopID

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Mint Wellness grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use PoopID on Apple-branded products that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and the Apple Media Services Terms.

This license is for personal, non-commercial use. It does not include the right to resell, rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Service.

5. AI accuracy & results disclaimer

5.1 Factors affecting accuracy

• Photo quality, lighting, focus, and angle.
• Atypical samples that fall outside the AI's training distribution.
• Camera hardware variability between iPhone models.
• Color casts from bathroom lighting (yellow LEDs, fluorescents) that can shift apparent stool color.
• Mixed or partial samples that confuse classification.
• Edge cases the AI has not yet encountered enough examples of.

5.2 Continuous improvement

We continuously improve PoopID's AI using properly licensed and de-identified clinical imagery. We do not train models on your personal photos. Improvements are released through app updates over time.

5.3 No guarantee of any specific outcome

Mint Wellness makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that PoopID will detect any particular condition, prevent any health issue, lead to any specific outcome, or be accurate in any individual case. Use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

6. Medical disclaimer

PoopID has not been reviewed by, registered with, or cleared by any regulatory authority including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), or any equivalent body. PoopID is not intended for use as part of clinical decision-making.

"Red-flag detection" inside PoopID is a wellness nudge — it suggests that a pattern might be worth discussing with a healthcare professional. It does not detect or diagnose any condition.

7. Subscription, billing & trial

7.1 Plans

PoopID offers an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks full AI analysis, four-dimension scoring, trend tracking, PDF export, and red-flag detection. Plan options (e.g., monthly, annual) and pricing are shown inside the app on the paywall before you confirm a purchase.

7.2 Free trial

Where offered, a free trial begins on the date you start it and lasts the duration shown on the paywall. After the free trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a paid subscription.

7.3 Billing

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID account. By confirming a purchase, you authorise Apple to charge your payment method:

• The introductory or trial price (if any) at the start of the relevant period.
• The recurring subscription price at each renewal period.

Subscription auto-renews at the end of each period unless you cancel. The renewal charge will be applied within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the rate then in effect.

7.4 Price changes

We may change subscription prices. Apple will notify you of any price increase before it applies. If you do not consent to the new price, you must cancel your subscription before it auto-renews at the new price.

7.5 Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device, tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall to recover your active subscription. RevenueCat handles the entitlement check based on your Apple ID's purchase history.

8. Cancellation & refunds

8.1 How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
2. Tap your name at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap PoopID.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling stops future renewals. You retain access to premium features until the end of the current paid period.

8.2 Refunds

All payments are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple, not Mint Wellness. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow the instructions.

Mint Wellness does not directly issue refunds for App Store transactions. Apple's refund policy applies.

Where the law gives you a statutory right to a refund or withdrawal (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts), that right applies in addition to and is not limited by these Terms. By starting a free trial or making a purchase, you may consent to immediate performance of the Service, in which case the statutory withdrawal period may not apply.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use PoopID only for its intended personal wellness purpose. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
• Upload or submit content that is illegal, obscene, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights.
• Upload images that are not of your own (or your minor child's, with parental consent) stool — the Service is intended for personal use only.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or models from the Service or its AI.
• Probe, scan, attack, or otherwise interfere with the security of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load.
• Resell, sublicense, lease, lend, or commercially exploit the Service.
• Use the Service to make medical, insurance, employment, or other significant decisions about anyone.
• Misrepresent the AI's results as a clinical diagnosis to anyone, including yourself.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this section.

10. Your content (photos)

"Your Content" means the photos you take in PoopID, the analysis results derived from them, and any optional health context you choose to enter (e.g., antibiotics history, baseline notes).

10.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in Your Content.

10.2 License you grant us

You grant Mint Wellness a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. This license terminates when you delete the relevant content or your account, except to the extent strictly required for legal compliance, security, or enforcement of these Terms.

This license does not grant us the right to use Your Content for advertising, marketing, AI training, public display, or any third-party purpose. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy for details.

10.3 Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content. You confirm that uploading does not violate any law or any third party's rights.

10.4 Removal

You may delete Your Content at any time inside the app. We may remove Your Content if we believe in good faith it violates these Terms or applicable law, or if required by a lawful authority.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including PoopID's name, brand, logo, mascot ("Poopy"), the design of the application, the user interface, the underlying source code, the AI models, the website at https://poopid.app/, and all related text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, audio, video, and software, are owned by Mint Wellness or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"PoopID" and "Mint Wellness" are trademarks of Mint Wellness. "Bristol Stool Scale" is a clinical reference originally developed at the University of Bristol.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any Mint Wellness trademark, logo, or branding without our prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using PoopID, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Service availability

We strive to keep PoopID available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, capacity constraints, or factors outside our control (including but not limited to outages affecting Apple, Google Firebase, or your internet connection).

Some features of PoopID, such as live AI analysis, require an active internet connection. Past scans, history, trend dashboards, and PDF export remain accessible offline.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, where commercially reasonable. If we discontinue the entire Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice and (where applicable) information about exporting Your Content.

14. Third-party services

PoopID relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Apple — App distribution, Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases.
• Google Firebase — Cloud storage, database, analytics, crash reporting.
• RevenueCat — Subscription management.

Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services. If a third-party service introduces a problem affecting PoopID, we will work to resolve it but cannot guarantee how quickly.

15. Updates & changes to the service

We continuously improve PoopID. Updates may add features, change existing behaviour, or remove deprecated functionality. Apple's App Store may automatically update the app; you can manage automatic updates in iOS Settings.

Material changes that reduce a paid feature available under your active subscription will be communicated in advance, and you will have the option to cancel for a pro-rated refund handled through Apple where applicable.

16. Termination

16.1 Termination by you

You may stop using PoopID and delete your account at any time. Account deletion is available inside the app at Settings → Account → Delete account. Subscription auto-renewal must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID (see section 8.1) — Mint Wellness cannot cancel your subscription on your behalf, since Apple controls billing.

16.2 Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe in good faith that you have:

• Materially breached these Terms.
• Engaged in conduct that creates a risk of legal liability for Mint Wellness or other users.
• Repeatedly violated the acceptable-use rules in section 9.

16.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

17. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Mint Wellness expressly disclaims:

• Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Any warranty that AI results will be accurate, complete, reliable, or free from defects.
• Any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
• Any warranty regarding any specific health, wellness, medical, diagnostic, or treatment outcome.

You assume the entire risk of using the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties; in such jurisdictions, the disclaimers above apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

18. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MINT WELLNESS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, HEALTH OUTCOMES, MISDIAGNOSIS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE — THE SERVICE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF MINT WELLNESS FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO MINT WELLNESS THROUGH APPLE'S BILLING IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation above may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

19. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mint Wellness, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors from and against any third-party claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any law or third-party right.
• Your Content (including photos you upload).
• Your reliance on AI results from the Service for medical, insurance, employment, or other significant decisions, contrary to section 5 and section 6.

20. Apple-specific terms

The following terms apply because PoopID is distributed through the Apple App Store. They apply between you and Mint Wellness, with respect to Apple's role as App Store distributor:

1. These Terms are concluded between you and Mint Wellness only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
2. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the Service.
3. If the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service.
4. Mint Wellness, not Apple, is solely responsible for any product warranties, claims of non-conformity, product liability, regulatory compliance, and consumer protection.
5. Mint Wellness, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim by you or any third party relating to the Service or your possession or use of the Service, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
6. If a third party claims the Service or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights, Mint Wellness — not Apple — is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
7. You represent that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

21. Governing law & disputes

21.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country of residence of Mint Wellness, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you also have the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms reduces those rights.

21.2 Informal resolution

Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at mobixoftapps@gmail.com with a clear description of the issue. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally within 60 days.

21.3 Forum

Subject to mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Mint Wellness's principal place of business.

21.4 Online dispute resolution (EU)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not currently obliged to participate but will consider doing so in good faith.

22. General provisions

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented inside the app for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mint Wellness regarding the Service.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction (for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets).
• No third-party beneficiaries. Except as provided in section 20 (Apple), there are no third-party beneficiaries to these Terms.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, internet outage, or pandemic.
• Notices to you. We may send you notices through the Service, by email, or by posting on poopid.app.
• Notices to us. Send legal notices to mobixoftapps@gmail.com.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, applicable law, or for any other legitimate business reason. When we make a material change, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
• Notify you in the app via an in-app notice on next launch.
• Where the change materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations, request your acknowledgment before continuing to use the Service.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
